WEST is pleased to be a sponsor at the joint North American Symposium on Bat Research and International Bat Research Conference meeting in Austin, Texas, this week. WEST ecologists Kevin Murray, Kate MacEwan, and Larisa Bishop-Boros will be in attendance and will be participating in the following workshop and poster presentations:


Kate MacEwan co-presents the workshop, “Establishing Global Thresholds for Wind Energy Mortality of Bats” on Wednesday, August 3rd, at 9:00 AM Central. 


Larisa Bishop-Boros presents the poster, “UAS-bas line transect surveys to measure bat occupancy, abundance, and species composition at wind energy facilities”
