The WEST team has supported the Federal Highways Administration and Department of Transportation roadway projects for nearly three decades. Our staff of biologists, ecologists, and statisticians are experts in supporting the needs of roadway projects. WEST has existing agency relationships as well as an understanding of regulations and policies of state and federal agencies and local and county ordinances and zoning rules. Our core work products stem from biological impact evaluation and compliance with the statutes governing Department of Transportation projects, including biological assessments, wetland permitting, and National Environmental Policy Act compliance.
