While not every dog thrives as a working dog, detection dogs enjoy a deeper bond with their person, and the opportunity to put their noses to work for science. When we identify the right dog and their person, we guide them through our training program and conduct regular evaluations to not only ensure that standard detection benchmarks are met, but that every dog is enjoying “the game” of work. Checking these boxes ensures we collect high quality data for our clients while protecting the welfare of our detection dogs.
