WEST Principal Statistician, Paul Rabie, will be presenting in Renewable Energy Wildlife Institute (REWI) Technology Catalog webinar series this month.

On Tuesday, June 23 at 12:00 PM ET, Paul will be featured in “Wings Unharmed: Global Approaches to Mitigating Wildlife Collisions – Part 2,” presenting WEST’s Optimized Smart Curtailment™ (OSC™) technology.

OSC™ is a tailored, site-specific, bat-risk model designed to create a curtailment algorithm that minimizes energy losses at wind farms without compromising bat conservation.

This webinar brings together researchers and technology developers in advancing solutions to help reduce wildlife impacts from renewable energy, highlights innovative tools such as AI-informed turbine curtailment and 3D tracking of flight behavior.
