WEST is in Edmonton this week for the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists Conference, November 4– 6. This year’s theme, Supporting Biologists: In the Field and Beyond, is one we live by every day.
We’re proud to be a Premium Booth Sponsor, and even prouder of the science our team is bringing to the program. On Thursday, November 5, John Ning will present “Utilizing Drone Technology to Measure Bat Abundance and Occupancy” at 3:10 pm, followed by Kirsten Pearson with “Using Modern Drone Technology to Minimize Disturbance During Raptor Nest Surveys” at 3:45 pm. Later that afternoon, at 4:20 pm, Josh Sullivan will deliver a Speed Talk on avian ecology.
Stop by our booth #11 to meet the team, talk about what’s ahead for your projects, and say hello to Kirsten, John, and Josh, and our other team members, Aaron Veale and Oriana Monette. We’d love to hear what you’re working on and WEST can support your projects.
