WEST scientists Michael Gerringer and Wally Erickson are participating in the Data Science Solutions to Regulated Species Challenge in the Electric Power Industry virtual workshop this week, hosted by the Electric Power Research Institute and Environmental Policy Innovation Center. They will be panelists on their on demand presentation titled “Automation of Fatality Studies Using Imagery and Unmanned Aerial Systems.”
The workshop brings together decision makers, practitioners, and researchers for a focused discussion on wildlife, biodiversity, and habitat with the goal of identifying opportunities for data science and emerging technologies.
