In 2024, Optimized Smart Curtailment (OSC) was implemented at a project site and the client recently determined they were able to regain 54% of power production relative to blanket curtailment by using OSC, while saving the same number of bats as blanket curtailment. This illustrates the potential for OSC to simultaneously conserve bats while increasing energy production.
