Does your high-drive dog need a job? Are you interested in strengthening your bond with your dog while you train and work together to help with important wildlife research and conservation? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join WEST’s detection-dog team and get started in conservation detection-dog work!

WEST is looking for Detection-Dog Handlers to train and work with their own suitable dog(s) to help conduct post-construction monitoring at a wind energy facility in Missouri. Experienced biologists with a dog appropriate for detection training or experience training for or participating in nose work, hunting, detection-dog sports, or field trials are encouraged to apply.
