Introducing WEST’s Wildlife Summary Briefs

WEST is excited to announce the launch of a new publication series!

The WEST Wildlife Summary Briefs (WWSB) are published occasionally to explain the science behind important, timely issues in wildlife conservation. Concise and written in plain, jargon-free language, Wildlife Summary Briefs are meant for anyone interested in the science of wildlife conservation, not just experts. They will offer our readers reliable, science-based, and practical insights from WEST’s team of ecologists, statisticians, and biologists.

The first two issues have covered bird migration and summarized what we know about the causes of bird fatalities. Dr. John Lloyd, Senior Biologist at WEST, appreciates how the WWSB helps him cut through the clutter of online information: “What a time saver! Up-to-date information from a reliable source, distilled and summarized for quick, easy reading. WEST’s Wildlife Summary Briefs are a great introduction to complicated topics!”
