WEST is proud to share that Consulting Biologist Bethanne Bruninga-Socolar, PhD is serving as a Guest Editor for a special issue of Ecological Solutions and Evidence, a peer-reviewed journal of the British Ecological Society.

The special feature — Perspectives and Research to Advance the Scientific Foundations of Ecovoltaic Solar Energy Development — invites submissions that advance regional and context-specific understanding of ecovoltaics. Contributions may include applied case studies, best management practice recommendations, literature reviews, original research spanning new ecovoltaic approaches, novel stakeholder engagements, policies, and community sciences.

We encourage researchers, practitioners, and policymakers working at the intersection of renewable energy and ecological stewardship to consider contributing to this important and growing field.

Proposals are being accepted through July 31, 2026, and can be submitted here: https://bit.ly/4gKMRsu
