WEST Principal Ecologist Karen Tyrell, Ph.D., will present “Calculating Compensatory Mitigation Requirements for the Lesser Prairie-chicken HCP” at 2pm ET, Friday, October 20th. Dr. Tyrell’s presentation is part of the series “Compensatory Mitigation: Grouse Management and Conservation.” The webinar explains the regulatory landscape that guides decision-making around wind energy development and prairie grouse, and describes the various mechanisms available to improve the availability of quality habitat.
