Did you know WEST’s Optimized Smart Curtailment (OSC) solution is being implemented, or is in development, in two Canadian provinces and nine US states? OSC has allowed projects in Alberta and Ontario, Canada, to stay below the bat threshold required to operate in those areas. OSC is also being used in the US to reduce bat fatalities to satisfy permit requirements.
