1) What got you into bats or brought you to WEST? I first got interested in bats during undergrad while taking mammalogy and just thought they were the coolest animals, and when I found out about white-nose syndrome impacting bats I knew I had to get into bat conservation somehow.

2) What you love most about your job? What I love most about my job is getting work with so many smart people and fellow biologists. I feel good about the work I do here.

3) What is your favorite bat fact? I’m always amazed at how long bats can live (the world record is 41 years). For a small mammal, that’s crazy! There are so many cool bat facts to choose from.
