We’re excited to share that Aaron McAlexander and WEST were featured in the December 2024 Indiana Karst Conservancy publication with the article, “Summer Bat Census at IKC Preserves!”
Aaron, one of our bat biologists, worked alongside Goni Iskali by setting up detectors at strategic locations: one in an open camping area near the upper cave entrance and the other at the lower cave entrance near a stream bed. These surveys were made possible thanks to his dedication and expertise.
