WEST is excited to welcome Brenda Bhatti to our team as a Senior Wildlife Biologist/Ecologist! Brenda has been in wildlife and environmental consulting, land use, conservation, and project/business management for more than 25 years and has worked in a broad range of sectors that include transportation/infrastructure (e.g., bridges, airports), on/offshore wind and solar, energy/transmission, commercial/industrial development, and others. She has extensive experience with environmental permitting and NEPA documentation, agency coordination and negotiations, mitigation strategies (e.g., wetlands, rare species), constraints analysis, public outreach, and fieldwork. Her specialty is bats, but she also loves working with turtles and snakes. She truly enjoys business development, which she has done nationwide, and is looking forward to assisting WEST in building and diversifying our client/project roster! She also enjoys leading training efforts in business, consulting, and fieldwork skills. She has been providing public presentations on bats and wildlife tracking for more than 20 years.

“I’m thrilled to join WEST in my new role as a Senior Wildlife Biologist and tie my diverse range of interests and experience in with a company that has been providing a similarly broad range of expertise for many years!”
